[Ex·hale], to breathe out, or to relax
You exhale when you feel relieved, after finally putting something in the past.
You exhale when you finally feel free from this jail
This jail you have locked yourself in for years
Years of isolation, years of misunderstanding both by the public but mostly by yourself
I have finally found the courage to get up and get the key.
The key that has been at arms reach all this time
Time showed me the courage, people showed me what courage looks like
Time showed me it takes courage to be here with all the others
Life is best enjoyed because there's pain awaiting. It is that pain that forces you, allows you to enjoy the moment. It makes memories the more special.
Sometimes you let that pain take control; and I get that it's terrifying
Control no more. I feel free-er, I feel relaxed. I finally exhaled
