So-Called Self-Love

It's funny how sometimes you think you really love yourself.

You think you really love who you are.

You wake up with the biggest smile on your face with the highest amout of enery

But the tiniest grain of salt can cut you

Anything can shift this so called self-love

Was it ever there in the first place?

Are you one of those people who's emotions consumes their day?

Not just a fraction of time, but a whole.

It's all you can think about...there comes the self-blame

“You have everything going for you in life” is what people wisper in your ear

But the only thing is that "at the end of the day you only really have yourself".

You can’t fix yourself. Your world will end with that mentality.

Healing is the path you need to take

Find the ground that steadies you

Find the soil that nurishes you

Find the noise that fills your heart

Listen to the wind and let it complete your soul

The birds will carry you to the start

But that start is within you; find yourself within yourself

Love yourself : ) Always

*An oldie but a goodie
