The Cycle of a Smile

The sun beams so bright when we drive,

It gives reason to smile.

But just like the sun sets everyday,

So does a smile.


The day was so bright, flowers everywhere,

Birds chirping, buterflies and dragonflies dancing in the air,

And yet a frown sets with despair.


It sits there, almost without repair,

As if it could stay for eternity.

Even when the time finally comes for it to disappear,

It always makes it's way back without hesitation.

It consumes me, the frustration..


Just like the moon cycle, my emotions play in a loop,

Again and Again

A continuous cycle, where I know the low will come,

I just need to accept it and push through.


Push through all the turbulence.

Push through the tornado.

Push through the tsunami.


There is another side.

Another so-called world where things are better, different.

But remeber the grass is only greener where you water it
